where to go for party favors?
i'm trying to keep costs down, but would like to get some cute favors for trevor's party. we'll have about 15 kids. where to start looking? was thinking target, 5 below and maybe michaels.
Re: where to go for party favors?
i don't really know how much per kid. was going to make up a goody bag, but i kind of like your idea of just a big thing instead of a bag of "junk".
forgot about christmas tree shop!! thanks!
anyone like the idea of cookies as favors? i'd make them myself and decorate them (the best i can LOL)
I've only done gift cards as favors. R's birthday is in the beginning of September so we do $5 Rita's gift cards for each child.
I personally am not a fan of getting a bag full of lollipops, mini playdoh, etc.
it's a mario theme. don't want to go "too" theme-y since it's boys and girls....i'm browsing pintrest now trying to get creative LOL
What's the theme? You can make cookies and wrap them very creatively in cheap cello bags with a paper tag. I really like the idea of custom labels for water bottles, juice boxes or candy bars. Check Five Below. I got really nice sand shovels there for Zach's party.
I am also not a fan of the "bag of goodies" kind of favors.
The first year I did snowflake shaped crayons. You can find all kind of cool crayons on Etsy. The second year I did coloring / sticker books. Her party was Dora so I found Dora-themed ones in Target. This year I did cookie favors (I used Crumbtious Cookies). The party came with favors as well that had bubbles, mini play-doh, silly straw.
Etsy has some great stuff:

I like the chocolate mustache lollipops.
love the idea of cookie favors. and we are doing butterfly wings and wands for the girls and pirate hats and swords for the boys (tinkerbelle theme) but i also LOVE the cookie idea. if i could bake i would have done that
