Why can I not find Marsala wine? Help!

I feel like such an idiot! I stood in the wine section at the grocery store for at least 10 minutes looking up and down the aisles to no avail. I even Googled from my phone to try and get some help finding it and still left empty handed.

My store has it broken down by wine type and I couldn't figure out what type it would fall under.

Can anyone help me figure out where to find it in the store? I'm hitting Costco soon - do they carry it? Or should I hit a liquor store instead?

(this particular store doesn't have a wine person but I could hit a store that had one if that's easiest... I just thought maybe there was a trick to finding it at the regular store)

I would check by the vinegars, top shelf. I think that's where my supermarket has that and the rest of the cooking wines.

At my supermarket it's with the "dessert" wines like sherry and port.

I find it right by all the other vinegars and condiments. Hope that helps!

You don't want the ones near the vinegars.  Mine is in the Italian wine section at my grocer.

I'm jealous of people that live in states where they sell real wine at the grocery store, sigh.  For me it's the liquor store - the "cooking" wine tastes like a big bottle of salt, yuck

Liquor store for sure. Usually with dessert or sweet wines!

I had no idea there was a difference. I'll keep a look out for some better stuff.
