Moving to Pflugerville, furniture shopping?

Hi all! H and I are going to be moving to Pflugerville from Hawaii soon, and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for furniture shopping in the Austin area. We are buying a 3100 sq/ft house. Our mortgage will be less than we pay for a one bedroom apt here in Honolulu, but we are a little overwhelmed at the prospect of furnishing the place as it is so much bigger than the space we currently occupy. Any suggestions (especially budget friendly) would be appreciated!

I've bought from Star Furniture and have been happy.  Other furniture stores up north include ; Ashley, Rooms to Go, Haverty's, LaZBoy, and Furniture Row.

Welcome! When is the big move?

I'm not much help since most of our furniture is cheap and junky. We did get some of our pieces at Ikea (there's one in Round Rock) which isn't too bad. Some of their stuff is hit or miss.

We got our super nice stuff from Havertys. We got Very nice will last about 10-15 years, from Rooms to Go. Ashley's has nice stuff. It really just depends on your style. We got all of our tables and chairs and end tables from consignment stores.

Ditto the recs for Haverty's and Rooms 2 Go. We've bought furniture from both of them before.
