Brief catch up . . .
Hi ladies,
I've been pretty MIA last week, trying to "get my game on" with various things around the house and with my side business. Last week was pretty normal for me, the weekend was busy though! I made a chicken pot pie and salad to take to my brother's Saturday for dinner with DH and kids. My bro, SIL and nephew are leaving for Australia on Sunday this week until June, then will be back for a couple months before they move there "permanently" (or at least 5 yrs). They will be back to visit, my bro once a year, SIL and nephew not sure how often.
It hasn't totally hit me yet, and maybe won't until they leave later this year- we don't see each other terribly often as it is so until June won't be unusual to not see them.
Sunday I had a very successful party for my business! It was a lot of fun, with 4 hockey wives in attendance and two other friends of the hostess. I'm feeling better and better about this business so that's great because I was a little stressed about it.
This weekend DH is leaving for a week for Austria on a ski trip! The kids will be with their mom so I'll have a week to myself! I'm visiting Brenna in North/central NJ Fri-Sat and Sunday seeing my bro & family before they leave. I'm looking forward to having some time to myself and especially this weekend! :-)

I understand being a little excited to have your "alone time" coming up. There are plenty of times that I am just so relaxed when I can cook for myself and don't have to worry about what Jeff wants to watch on TV or anything. Have fun!
