Junie!

Hey girl, did you see my fb message I sent u a few days ago?  I called the hotel several times last week and they keep taking my information to give to a manager supposedly, but no one has called me back.

:(

Re: Junie!

  • Hi i just saw the one I replied to last. I spoke to one of the valet guys and he basically told me that they are not liable for any valuable items in the car but I told him well if the item is there before and gone after that means someone took it! Did they tell you to fill out a form? If you could remember the valet person you dealt with I'd talk to him directly. Can you describe the valet? I'm really sorry for this issue, unfortunately the valet company is not part of the hotel do our management can't really do much unless you were also an I house guest. They will leave it to the 717 company to fix the issue.

  • I talked to someone at Valet directly first, and then I talked to someone in Loss Prevention with the hotel.  Both of them took down my information and said they were giving it to a manager but I never heard anything back.

There were 2 valet guys that night but only one took our car - it was the same one who took our car and dropped it off to us so he was in it both times.  He was on the younger side, I would say in his 20's, and he had tan skin and dark hair (longer hair, not a shaved head.. like with bangs).  I did not get his name but maybe someone could look on the schedule or something - he was there the evening of Feb,. 14th.

I definitely understand that to an extent they can't be responsible for items in your car, but just as you said, if something is there when you hand the car over to them and then it is gone, it's kind of obvious what happened..

I think I'm going to try and call 717 today directly myself and not through the hotel and see what happens.  It's just really irritating..
