I'm so bored! There are things I could do, but...it's Monday and I don't wanna :P

I want to be home in bed so bad. I think I caught DH's cold, but it's freaking Lent now, which means it's crazy at work and I won't get a day off until Good Friday
I actually have a ton of stuff to do today, but my boss needs to sign off on it, and he's not here yet - so i'm just waiting around.
We make the rockin' world go 'round.

There has been some confusion as to whether this is even an actual holiday for my company, so half of the people that I need to deal with at at work, and the other half are not.... should be a pretty regular day for me - hopefully somewhat quiet so I can catch up on a bunch of stuff that I need to do.
DH's parents are still here and he's taking them out to Arlington and maybe some museums today, so it will be nice to have the house to myself for a while
SSW - I hope your cold passes quickly. Yesterday was the first day I didn't feel cruddy in weeks. This winter has to end soon, right?

to having some quiet time in your house! Did you manage to keep the ILs entertained over the weekend?
I did! I was originally only "responsible" for Saturday as DH was in Moscow and got home Saturday night - and assumed that he would be off Sunday & Monday. Well imagine my surprise when he got home and told me he had to work on Sunday.
So... I was back on deck for another day of entertainment. We did lunch at Asia Nine (yum) and then the National Building Museum yesterday - it was decent, though much smaller than I had expected. Somehow I managed to keep them busy until DH got home at TEN pm and then I excused myself to go to bed. Ah, the silence. It was nice.
I'm here! Entertain me!
It only took me 18 minutes to get to work today, so at least there's that. (But that just makes me angry on all the other days it takes 45.)
Of course, tonight everyone will be at the mall and make me grumpy when they try to leave at 4:30... (I'm in Tysons).
Workload is pretty light so far...
