A few randoms

- last night I had a horrible thought. The hotel we're going to has an indoor pool. I have not worn either one of my swimsuits since before I had Ellie. Therefore, I probably need to go buy a swimsuit before Friday. ACK.

- We're OOT this weekend and next weekend. I'm really not happy about having to be gone two weekends in a row. I am a homebody.

- Next weekend is Guy's grandparents 60th wedding anniversary, which is why we're going OOT (for the party). I hope that Guy and I make it 60 years.

anyone else?

Re: A few randoms

  • I woke up with the Party Rock Anthem stuck in my head and I can't make it stop.  Then I start thinking about LMFAO, which makes me think of the Elmo parody of I'm Sexy and I Know It.

I have to stop going to MM.  I see people who are younger than us who have 95K in savings and it just makes me feel bad about myself.

Me too friend. Let's make a pact. NO MORE MM LURKING. *pinky swears*

  • My tights are on inside out today, are brown and not black like I thought, and I have a hole in my dress. Hot..mess. The nurses in the meeting I'm obviously lot paying attention in are giving me snarky looks. I may slap a biitch.
  • My husband left a heating pad on, sitting on our couch all night and I just found it.  When I told him he needed to be more careful he said I was overreacting, so he may get slapped too.

I went to Zumba for the first time on Saturday and accidentally went to the intermediate class instead of the beginner one.  Oops.  I got my @ss kicked hardcore.  Maybe it was good for me.

  • I'm ready to punch Jay in the throat...I have off on a Monday and he's sitting in front of the damn computer playing video games still not showered from the gym. Helloooooo spend time with me since I'm actually here on your day off!

Today is our godson's 8 month "birthday". I can't believe how soon he's going to be one.

I've been organizing and purging and cleaning the house like crazy because I just can't take the mess anymore. This weekend I organized the pantry and or storage shelves in the basement and made the best diet discovery ever; take all of the junk food out of the pantry and put it in the basement! Now we have to actually make a conscious effort to go and get the junk food instead of it just being in the kitchen...it already seems to be working for both of us!

This is why I refuse to go over there- obviously they haven't had much "life experiences" that I chalk my spending up to.  Good for them, but I can tell you that wont happen on my salary with my bills and we do pretty well.

This is a good point. Most of them are putting off having kids until they have like XXX amount of savings, blah blah. If we'd done that, we would have never had a kid.

  • Ames and I were discussing that tomorrow is Fat Tuesday via text and I told her I like all donuts, 'cept jelly. But autocorrect made it "crochety jelly". LOL.

  • -I had a dream last night that my purse was stolen. It was one of those dreams where you wake up thinking it's real. My first thought was "Great, now I'll have to re-memorize all new credit card #s."

-I'm starting to worry that Gabby may end up as an only child. Infertility aside, I'm worried that Jay won't wont another one b/c of how horribly colicky Gabby has been. I have had to take care of her 99% of the time b/c her constant crying causes Jay to have severe anxiety.

-I haven't done any real work today.

Aww, that's so hard.  It'll get easier to leave him every day, but you'll probably always be bummed about it.  I know I am.  On the other hand, while I wish I could stay home with Kyler, some days I'm actually glad he's in daycare because his teachers do so many creative things with him and he has so much fun playing with all the toys and the other babies.  It helps me to think of it that way, so maybe that's one way for you to look at it. And since you said he'll spend two days with your mom, he'll be getting in good Grandma time!

I will say daycare is the hardest when they're small and helpless.  Once he gets moving around and interacting with everyone, it's not so hard to leave them because they start to show some independence.
