FG/TS updated page rates

It seems like their page goes for like 8 hours without being updated and then all of the sudden the photos cycle through and the page gets updated like every 2 hours (and of course my pictures are in the latter category not the former).  Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes! I think TS went like 24 hours without updating last week. I did get on the good end of that last week with Tasteologie, my Bacon Fat Biscuits were on the front page for over a day! But most of the time it's the other way around and my post gets buried.

I never even do Tasteologie anymore.  I need to get back to that one.  I usually just do FG and Healthy Aperture.  For some reason I'm really annoyed by the whole process of photo submission.

I've come to believe that the TS gal just parties too hard the night before, and sleeps in until 4 PM PST.

yup, I was so happy my pics made it up again then realized it went to page 3 the next minute.

me too.  I don't even submit half the time anymore.  Plus, some of the photos that are accepted are just so crappy, that it devalues the sites IMO.

Yes!  I know we've talked this one to death but it still boggles my mind with some of the photos that they accept.
