how do i get two pictures to be side by side instead of one on top of the other?

You just put the two codes right next to each other without any spaces or breaks. BUT your images have to be small enough, pixel wise, to fit the width of the nest's template, otherwise it will drop them to the next line. If you're hosting from shutterfly it adds white space around your image which will contribute to the pixel limit.

Are you trying to fit the love bug and lucky pics on one line, or something else? Those two are small enough that they should be fine.
