Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

We were at the vet today...
...we being me and the German Shepherd, and the other owners in the waiting room were talking about people abandoning animals on the major highways here. I was horrified.
THEN, my MIL basically told me she thought what I spend on my dogs at the vet is silly. I want my girls happy and healthy so, excuse me if I want to spend what you think is too much money on heart worm prevention, shots, etc.
I suppose I'm done venting now. I just had to get it out there.

Have I ever commented on how gorgeous your dobe is? Because he/she is, completely. He/she could be cousins with my dobe
I hate people! EVERYONE here leaves their dogs out all the damn time. It breaks my heart! I can't tell you how many times I've lured strays into my car off the highway here. Makes me sick!
And yeah people don't understand why we spend so much on our pets either! I just tell them to kiss it, our dogs are happy and healthy!
