Has anyone had airducts cleaned?
I'm open to your referrals.
Are there any sites that offer discounts?
Thanks
Re: Need a little help - air duct cleaning
I'm a very new homeowner, so I haven't had this done yet. I also had Zerorez clean my carpets when I moved in, and I really liked them for that service. You might try signing up for their email list (it offers coupons for signing up) and seeing if one of the coupons is for air duct cleaning.
Be aware that some of their technicians will try to upsell you when they actually come out for the appointment. I had initially just gotten the four-room-for-$99 deal and when they came, they definitely wanted to clean all the other carpets in my house. They did do a great job for a low price, though, so I guess I can't blame them for trying to earn a little more.
Otherwise, I know I've seen coupons in the Val-pak kind of thing I get in the mail, but I don't recall which companies in particular.
Well there were 3 coupons in my packet. I called and talked to each; googled each; read reviews. I almost called one. But then I checked Angies List.
and I called one that had A rating on Angies list. He explained more and said his price was firm and there would be no hidden costs like I read about in the other reviews.
They are scheduled for Monday. I'll report back.
