what (if anything) are you giving up?
I haven't put any thought into this...it really came fast this year! Last year I'm pretty sure I didn't give anything up because I didn't realize Lent started until we were a week into it.
Re: Lent starts tomorrow...
I thought about this alot over the weekend and the H and talked last night about things that we would give together like saying the rosary together 3 days a week, praying together before we go to bed (we'll see about this one bc I got to bed when he works out at night. )
I think I will be giving up red meat all together and sodas.
Tequila.
All alcohol really, but tequila is obviously the big one.
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you. My Blog
When did that happen!?! Man, that did come fast. I usually don't give up anything, however, since I am going back to work this week, and they have since blocked TN on my maternity leave, I guess I can easily give up checking TN at work. Maybe I'll also include giving up checking personal email, etc. too.
I want to get better at managing my time at work and being more efficient - especially with 2 kiddos. So, I'll try to work better on that. Sounds more like a New Years resolution! Oops!
We're giving up french fries and regular soda (plus sweet tea for me).
We also try to add something also so we're going to start saying grace at every meal, not just when we eat at home.
I can't believe I'm going to do it, but I have decided to give up..RICE! OMG...I'm so scared. To me, giving up rice is like giving up water.
I can't do the no criticizing husband thing since I'll be grumpy from not having rice!!! hahaha
my photography blog
Last year I couldn't think of anything to give up so I did a daily devotional instead.
I think I'm gonna give up swearing. I've been doing it way to much. And if I do curse I'm gonna put $1 in a jar each time then give the contents of the jar at the collection at Easter.

Ha! I like this idea! Hope you don't get in any bad traffic issues to encourage swearing.
