Taller Ladies- What your ideal weight?
I'm 5'9 and think I could loose another 5-6 lbs and that would make me 135. I still have a belly and muffin top from my pregnancies. Now I know when I put my weight and height into a BMI calculator I'm at the bottom of the normal range. But whenever my friends ask me like how do I weigh they are shocked I weigh that much. It makes me feel bad and that I should put my goal lower.
Re: Taller Ladies- What your ideal weight?
Are your friends short? My mom always told me (and this is just an old bit of conventional wisdom) 100 pounds at 5', and 5 pounds for each inch above that. So I would be good around 120.
I'm like 126 these days and I'm 5'4". 140 doesn't sound crazy to me at all, especially for someone with 5" on me!

I think people are saying that they think you weigh less. I think at your height, the number on the scale is fine, Maybe you just need to work on toning things up a bit more.
When I was in the Marine Corps & running a lot, I was 5'4 & weight 138 but I only had 16% bodyfat. Everyone always thought I weigh less.
Don't worry about the number so much & maybe focus more on the toning/cardio to burn the baby fat off.
Good luck
Gosh No!! I just want to get rid of my pouch and muffin top. if that's only 2 or 3 lbs so be it.
Losing your "pouch and muffin top" has nothing to do with number on the scale. Work out, eat better and those parts will firm right up. Losing weight =/= smaller belly.
fwiw, I'm 5'10" and weigh 130. I still have a belly pooch.
Yes,I'm smiling...I'm a marathoner!

I agree it depends on the person.
I am 6' and hang around 140lbs. I'm happy with that. I think most girls my height probably weigh more, but thats the weight I've been since I hit that height back in high school and I do my best to keep it there. And I still have a bit of a pouch.

This is me too. I'm 5'10" and it is pretty much impossible for me to be less than 155 because I naturally have a thick, muscular body. So much depends on your frame and body shape.
