...or is this not normal? I had my Mirena put in about 3 weeks ago. Most of the time, I'm fine - but sometimes I get these awful cramps (they remind me of contractions). I never really got cramps with my period before, so I'm not used to these. And they HURT. Like, I want to roll on the floor. Is this normal, or should I call my doc? And if it's normal - when will they go away??

I'm on my 2nd Mirena and have never had anything like that. I would call your doc if you haven't already.
I have always had to go back in 4-6w later to get placement checked, so perhaps they could check yours early to make sure it's okay.
I get cramps normally that bring me to my knees. But I didn't have anything related to my iUD other than a dull ache. Wanting to roll on the floor seems extreme.
I'd request an US to make sure it's not perfed or out of place.
I don't have Mirena (and haven't had it), but I would definitely call your doctor over this. It sounds like it could be something serious.
