Running stores - Marathon Sports?

I need new running shoes, and I want to try a new running store... haven't been all that impressed with the St. Paul running stores I've tried over the years....  I think I remember someone on this board recommending Marathon Sports, and their website looks very promising.  Just wanted to check whether anyone had any other running store favorites I should check out...

Re: Running stores - Marathon Sports?

  • I have had good luck with them.

  • I've had really good luck with Marathon Sports. They are super nice and my feet always love the shoes they give me. They have a great return policy too. Not many places will let you wear the shoes outside and still take them back if you don't like them.

  • Marathon Sports is great. So is the Running Room (I go to the Uptown location but there is one in St.Paul on Grand Ave as well).

  • Another rec for Marathon Sports.  I even make the drive from Anoka when I need new shoes.  H and I just went and bought new kicks with our credit card points.  Also, if you join their list, you always get 20% off shoes.  Which is about $20, give or take.

Thanks, that's great!  I just signed up for their newsletter... not sure if that's what gets me the 20% off or not...  ?

  • It is - or at least that is all I did.  Each time (which has only been a couple, but still...) I o in they ask for my name, update my info and I get the 20% off.  I hope you love your shoes!
  • Great! Thanks again everyone!
