CD newborn question

For those who started with OS, how long did a diaper last? We have BG, and they only seem to last a couple hours, which would be fine, but Cori isn't on a schedule yet, so I don't know when she's going to sleep for 1 hour or 3 hours at a time.

Re: CD newborn question

  • I think we aimed for every three hours back then. How do you have them stuffed? If you're using the newborn insert, maybe try to bump up to the standard one?
  • I am using the standard one in the BG because I wanted the extra protection for that long nap. She can soak through that all the way to her bouncy seat (where she naps for now) even with that insert after 3 hours. I'll keep playing around with our stash and see if we can find something that works. I didn't realize how easy we had it when we started at 5 months with Alex, once a routine was already in place.

  • Is it more of a fit problem? Because that seems like alot of wetting for a one month old....
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • The insert is soaked after the long nap. She is formula fed, so more input and output than breast fed babies.
