Bachelorette Party Ideas in July

We are beginning to plan my friend's bachelorette party for July. She originally wanted to go to New Orleans, but I am concerned about the heat and humidity down there in July. I am trying to come up with alternatives that aren't going to break the bank. Our plan was to drive (we all live in Kentucky) so we'd like to keep the drive under 8 hours. Charleston and Chicago are two places I have thought of but I could use some more recommendations. We have already done Nashville and would like to find another awesome place for a long weekend.

I'd go to NO anyway even if it is hot.  Charleston is great too, but just as hot.  Chicago is awesome as well.  I think  you really can't beat NO for a bachelorette party.

I'd definitely go to New Orleans. Or Charleston. I'm going to Charleston in June for a bach. I'm planning my best friend's bach. in New Oreleans.

I agree with the others.  It's hit or miss, but Chicago can be unbareably hot in July too.  If NO is closer, I'd go there.
