Strollers - City Mini or Maclaren triumph

I'm trying to decide between the 2 - where are my stroller maven moms? I need advice!

Re: Strollers - City Mini or Maclaren triumph

  • I LOVE my City Mini, but I didn't look at the Maclaren Triumph. I like the City Mini b/c it's so light, and easy to maneuver.  If we have another child, I'm going to get the city double stroller.
  • i have never had a maclaren and don't understand why people love them so much- but they do... i LOVE all city strollers - i've been thrilled with my city select, and always wanted a mini but don't have a need for one (so i'm renting one in disney to get my fix, lol)
I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

  • i love my city mini!!!
  • Citi Mini was always out of my budget but it looks nice.  My Triumph is good and I do like it--I just wish I could've have fully reclined for naps when my boys were younger and we were out and about.  Now that they're older, it's perfect.  Small, compact and easy to use.

If I had to do over again though I wouldn't re-buy the triumph with an infant--I'd get something that fully reclines.

  • I have the Maclaren Techno XLR & love it, it fully reclines, light & easy to fold & open.  I looked at Triumph & was not impressed.  We looked at a City Mini & my only issue is that the sthereafter narrow & sink in, like a bucket seat.  We used a City double in Disney and I felt like my kids were squished in there

  • The city mini's great. Reclines all the way, huge sunshade, steers like a dream. I have a Maclaren and wish the city mini's were made when i got mine. The triumph doesn't recline too much and also has a small sun shade. Steers great though. I'd get the City Mini.
