  • If you already have it somewhere online, copy the URL and past into the top box when you click on that tree icon up there.

If it's not online, upload to somewhere like tinypic.com, then C&P the .jpg code into the same spot on that tree icon

    I hope this works!

So here is my house.  We are getting new windows within the next week or so, and they will be white without any grates? whatever the lines are in the panes..

We also desperately need new siding.  The current siding is the original, wood siding  and we would like to go with vinyl.  We also want the new siding b/c I don't think the white of the windows is going to corrdinate very well with the existing siding.

What color siding would you go with?  I have an idea in my head that I will share, but I don't want to sway any opinions.  If it matters, the 2 sides of the house are partially ivory/cream colored brick in addition to the brown siding.

  • Light sage green? A light gray-blue? I know you didn't ask, but with your cream brick and stone and with your warm brown roof, I think cream or off-white replacement windows would look much, much better than white.

  • Those are the 2 colors I was thinking of.  Leaning towards the sage green.  I thought about doing the windows in off-white, but couldn't justify the additional expense.  I figured the siding change would help the white "blend" a little better.
  • I think the color should be a deep tone... I actually love the wood. I think it works well with the style of the house and the other materials.

I would consider a deep sage, maybe a deep gray/brown.

  • Thanks for the info
