sesame place...season passes worth it?
what's the best package? Trying to figure out how high to go on the package. I know parking is insane and basic pass does not include parking. Is regular parking and preffered a big hike from one another? Most likely we will have Bella who is not even 18 months now. Ahhh...can't decide!! pros/cons anyone??
Re: sesame place...season passes worth it?
Even the space furthest away from the entrance is barely a walk. Don't bother with preferred unless someone's in a wheelchair.
Get the lowest pass with the parking in one of your kids names and the adults get the basic pass. The youngest won't need a pass anyway.
This. It's not a huge parking lot. Get the lowest passes and put the Big Bird pass on one of the kids.
Everyone is correct! We got regular season passes for me and my daughter, then got the Big Bird pass for my husband for the parking (I will be due with my 2nd in June and won't go without my husband anyway, and he has days off during the week where he will take our oldest by himself). The parking is not far anyway, so you only need the one pass for parking (that in itself was worth it because at like $15 a pop for parking, the Big Bird pass makes up for the cost for parking in just like 2 trips).
Also, its a decent discount for food, I think it's 30%? All the passes give you that though. We took my daughter just after she turned 2, and she did enjoy it. That being said, we know she will really enjoy it even more this year at 3.
Regular parking and preferred are really not far away in distance. Preferred is off to the side and requires a small walk, but the regular is literally just across a small street and if you get there early enough, even closer than the preferred. LOL
See, we did just the opposite. We got Toby the pass with the parking, since depending on whomever took him, HE would always be going and therefore would get us the free parking.
It was worth it for us because we live 5 mins away from there. We didn't use it much last year though, I think we went twice, so we didn't get it for this year. I may go ahead and get a 2-day pass for both him and myself since he has asked to go this spring, but that's it.
We typically went on Opening weekend, Mother's Day, some of the member days and again in the fall with maybe some other days in between, but it just gets so nuts on the weekends, and once school is out- forget it.
Plus, once Toby hit 3, we became beach people for the last 2 summers more than Sesame. It just wasn't worth it to us for this upcoming year. Toby is also 5 1/2.. so the thrill wears off, lol.
We said the same thing - get the pass with the parking in the kid's name.
Duh. I can read, lol
