Ugh, I need restaurant help
So my FIL has decided that he wants to take the whole family out to dinner Saturday night. Nice, right? Except it's the first night of Restaurant Week. And everything has been booked for months. And there's EIGHT of us. He wants to go somewhere nice- it doesn't HAVE to be a restaurant week restaurant but bonus if it is and has reservations available. Everyone lives on the north side of town, so probably no further south then downtown-ish. Any one have any brilliant ideas? Somehow this became my job. . . so annoying.

Re: Ugh, I need restaurant help
Twelve isn't participating in RW so maybe they have availability? Their menus always look awesome to me.
Try opentable.com You can just choose "Denver", date, time, and # of people and it will list all restaurants and available open times. Kinda cool!
And it will give you other times all of the restaurants have available, so it doesn't just limit you to the time slot you request.
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
Done that. Twice. There's one that SMIL will MAYBE eat at. Maybe. And that's it. There's only 5 total that I thought had a shot, so we're not starting off well.
I really don't want this to be my job.

Katie Talks About...
Morton's is my one possible one. She'll eat there, I just don't know if FIL is prepared for the $1000 bill.
And it's not her job because nothing is. She'll say she doesn't care where we go, and then whine and complain about EVERYTHING the entire time if it's not a place that meets her VERY narrow expectations. She's. . . special.

They are, actually. And their menu sounds yummy, I'll send it to FIL and see if it's worth calling and seeing if they have availability!

SMIL does sound special! Oy.
Everything I can think of is in DRW. Hope you can find something!
