Will Nature's Miracle work on old smells?
My parents watched a friends cat while they were out of the country a few years ago and it showed its anger by peeing in front of the litter box (on the carpet).
They cleaned it with a conventional cleaner, and it got the stains out but there is still an underlying cat pee scent. It was never really a problem since that room was being used for storage, but now they are turning into a guest bedroom. I'm wondering if I soak the area with Nature's Miracle if that will help with the smell even though it's been a long time since the "accidents."

5 cats. 1 baby.
They don't want to replace the carpet if they can avoid it. This is kind of a last ditch effort.
