Have you been watching the series channel 9 is running this week on dog education? Last night was the proper way to approach a dog, tonight is dogs and babies. I'm so pleased that they're doing this. I'm still very sorry for Kyle Dyer, but if it results in some public education about dog behavior, some good will have come from it.
Re: CO ladies
Yes! I was a little concerned with today's story because they kept showing in the background a video of a toddler straddling a dog and bouncing quite hard on it, then sticking his face right in the dog's face. What an impressive dog, but no matter how well behaved my dog is, I would never let my kid do that or let any kid do that to my dog. It bothered me because they didn't address how bad this video was (at least not the 6:30am version I saw).
Overall, though, their message is quite wonderful. So many people approach my dog without warning and I'm lucky my dog sees all people as new best friends.
