Organizing

I've totally got the organizing bug. DH put more shelving in our storage room 2 Saturdays ago so now I've got lots of space to stash things in an organized way. I bought several clear totes to put my fabric stash in so I can put it on the shelf. I've spent a good chunk of my afternoon going through my fabric, throwing out little scraps that I'm not sure why I kept, folding fabric for quilting and putting it all in them. I'm excited to have it all cleaned up neatly in one place finally! I did find out I should have bought 2 more totes though, 3 wasn't enough Oh well next time!

i'm jealous, btw. i've been asking h for shelving since we moved in 2.5 years ago. he finally put some in about a week before babyjennlin (we need to shorten this, but "BJL" is stupid) was born..so i didn't get much of a chance to organize/store things the way i wanted to.

I love organizing... I totally geek out about it.  My bff just moved here, and I'm looking forward to digging in, and helping her get organized tonight.  It's kind of a sickness.

Congratulations!!! I can't WAIT to get my craft room all organized...come on weather, warm up on a weekend to minimum 65! I have to wait until it does so I can finish spray painting my bookshelf, then it can come in from the garage and upstairs and that will be a big start.
