may take an overnight trip to philly iwth the kids later this week. is this place good or will i go nuts with the 3 kids there??? is it out of control with lots of noise and stuff and are the games for ages 5 and under?

Re: dave and busters in philly?? any reviews??

  • i like it there, but i dont think theres anything for kids under 5 really. if you are looking for other philly places to go w/ kids, let me know i can recommend some since i live close by :)

  • I wouldn't bring the kids there.  It's like an adult Chuck E Cheese with better food.   I'm sure there is plenty to do in Philly with the kids.
  • So many places to go with kids, I wouldn't do Dave & Busters, like PP said it's Chuck E Cheese for adults.  The Please Touch Museum, Academy of Natural Sciences and the Franklin Institute are all places I would consider.  There is also a nice amusement park near Independence Mall, just at the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge.

  • we are going to the aquarium today and then tomoorw franklin museum for the dino exhibit,. just looking for a place to eat with the kids
  • The other thing to consider is that it's not IN Philly, per se. It's a ways down 95 from where FI is, and certainly the Aquarium, which is actually in Camden. If you don't mind driving in and out of the city (depending on where you're staying), then go for it.. but just to find a place to eat, it seems like too much of a hassle, imo.
