These are my two favorite pictures my mom took the other day when she, my brother & sister watched S for the day.
I know I have been MIA lately. I just haven't had the time to keep up here and on Facebook and somehow, Facebook has seemed easier. Anyway, some of you know how close I am to my niece and how she wasn't emotionally ready to head off to college last fall. She ended up coming home after two weeks. Well, after a semester in therapy, she headed off on a gap year winter semester program in Nepal and is THRIVING! It is so amazing to see the changes and growth that have taken place in such a short period of time. The picture below is of her and her classmates on their first five day trek in the Himalayas. It makes me so proud! She is the third one over from the left.
