Who is giving something up? Doing something extra?

I'm giving up all sweets. I tried it a couple years ago and failed miserably so I'm hoping to do better this time around. I add in reading the daily mass.

I'm going to try to give up all the extra sweets I've been eating lately, and try to limit it to one a day. I know that's not really giving it up completely, but who knows, maybe I can do better than I planned and go all the way. Tony is giving up ice cream again. We did that a few years ago and it worked well for us, though I couldn't wait for Easter to come!

I'm going to give up swearing.  I cuss wayyyy more than I should, so I'm going to try to give that up.  I'll still allow myself to say "eff" and things like that, but I'll make a conscious effort to avoid using the actual swear words LOL.

I'm gna try my best to drink less soda. I want to be healthier and now that the baby is here and my surgery is over, hopefully I can do some kind of workout each day. My main thing I'm going to add instead of give up for lent is to make myself more professional and presentable for work.

I am giving up facebok.  One of my friends did it last year, and she inspired me.  I have been on facebook since 2004, so I am curious to see how different my life is without it.
