i openly admit....I can't do it all

i gave up yesterday trying to jam work, working out, eating right and volunteer stuff all in one day and feeling guilty about letting one or more things drop.

this is a huge milestone for me. i just could not muster the energy do to it all or do all of it but some of it half-a$$ed. so i didn't and look! i am still here today.

good for you! doing it all is overrated. and exhausting. finding the right balance is something i always have to work at and saying no/letting certain things go, is key.

Oh honey, yes - it's nearly impossible to do it all.  You have to take care of yourself, and sometimes that means not doing something you "should" do.

some days, I count it as a minor miracle if I get to the office.

This is probably a repeat, but some days it's okay to let some things go.  I usually find it energizes me more for the next day too.

It only took me six months of therapy to realize that....good for you for coming to the conclusion!  I schedule time that I do nothing and just relax.  Everything you put off will be there tomorrow!
