Happy Ash Wednesday (and start of Lent!)
Im not Catholic, but my sister is and I love encouraging her in every way - so I wanted to wish everyone (especially my sister belle) a Happy start to Lent! I pray that during this time you are able to be encouraged and allow the Lord to use you in a special way.
I am Christian (non-denomination) and will also follow the idea of Lent in that I want to give more of myself to others. Be it encouraging, motivating, etc. I love the idea that Kelly from Kelly Korner has in sending a note to 40 different people for the 40 days. I LOVE it and think I will probably do that
What are you doing during this Season of Lent??
Re: Happy Ash Wednesday (and start of Lent!)
start today! I made a list of 40 ppl in my life that I want to bless with a note/gift and #1 on my list is my mom. I noticed that in the last few months she has changed a lot and become such a wonderful person (she is normally a hardy and has somehow become a softy!). I am soooo happy with who she is becoming and how loving she has become. So I am going to stop by the store and pick up some flowers for her on our way to Marini's with a little note (BELLE I know you are working tonight for Wine Wednesday so do not tell her or copy me! LOL... I want it to be a surprise)
