I can't wait!!!  A few of my co-workers are reading the trilogy now and talking about it again gets me so excited for the movie!  Although, I was checking it out on imdb.com today and from the pics of the actors they cast for Peeta and Gale, they don't have the right looks to me.  Hopefully, they will in the movie.

hahaha, yeah, my friend literally JUST said that on my FB page about the looks of the main characters. Peeta is that guy from THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT. He played LAZER. 

Gale--meh.

Katniss---meh.

I loved the books, probably in my top 10 favorite, certainly for the originality and I loved the characters BUT I always hate book movies. They never ever do the characters justice and they always leave out so much of the book that I always feel like its watered down and disappointed. This one could different just on shock value alone and I cant wait to see the opening games and all that so I am hopeful .

we are nerds and already have a babysitter lined up. I think the casting is perfect- except for Woody Harrelson as Haymitch- the casting is good- someone who is over the hill but looks like he could have been athletic at one time but the long hair is ridic.  Im excited to see Lenny Kravitz as Cinna...  Elizabeth Banks is also an interesting choice for Effie- I pictured someone older so we will see how it goes...

I really want to go see it, but no one else I know has read them, and MH isn't all that thrilled to get recruited.  So I'm hoping I can talk him into it.

I cannot wait...I teach high school and I've been loving chatting with my students about the series.  We watched the trailer at the end of class the other day because we were all so excited, lol.

Suzanne Collins wrote the screenplay herself, so I am hoping for good things. I can't wait to see it. I am hoping this kid stays put and I don't have to pee every 5 minutes during the movie because I am due a week later.
