Started the day by knocking over M's sea monkeys and having to mop them all up. I felt awful. He just kept saying "why did you do that?" like I did it intentionally or something.
They are far to tiny to put back in the tank so even though they were still swimming around in the puddled, I had to mop them up. I felt bad for the poor things even though I'm pretty sure they don't have any really brain capacity to know they were dying.
The day can only get better, right? Please tell me it can only improve.
And in other news, anyone know where I can get Sea Monkeys in store? They sell new eggs and food, but the shipping is more than the item costs!
Re: Not a good start to the day
Thank you!
He was so upset and then came the "but how will they live if you throw the paper towel away?" Oy!
You totally scarred him for life! jk - he'll forget about it as soon as they're replaced!
kids are REALLy good at putting on the guilt. i broke one of arabelle's little snow globes she has. for some reason she brought it into the bathroom and then i was bringing it back in her room and CRASH on the floor it goes (and seriously my aunt got it from the dollar store)
she wailed and wailed mommy WHY did you break it? WHY? grandma gave that to me (un no actually your aunt did kid) and seriously hysterics. i felt TERRIBLE. i found another snow globe and she was happy.
I still feel bad
