For Scarlett's birthday, we're having a party with some family and close friends. We wanted to go all out, but our tiny house won't hold the 70 family members DH and I have between us, so we had to cut it down. For her actually birthday, I'm sure we'll do a little something, not sure yet.

My favorite type of cuisine is hands down Japanese. I could eat Japanese every day and never get tired of it.

What are the most excited about moving to TX? Most nervous about?

This will sound horrible of me, but I'm most excited about getting away from MIL. Stick out tongue I just want to be able to take a full breath while not under her thumb. I'm most nervous about the adjustment of living there and not in CA anymore. Life is very different there and I'll miss being an hour from the beach, 3 hours from Tahoe, etc. I'll have to ship sourdough in via the internet. I REFUSE to give up my sourdough. :)

Texas will be SUCH a change! My husband and I have always said we refuse to live in a red state, lol. I don't blame you about the sourdough-OMG. My sister in NJ doesn't have it, and it's always such a treat when I send her some!
