We did it just for fun. For us, it was right about gender. Everyone I know who did it got boy for the result and had a boy! 3 different couples. I know some people are very against it and think it is stupid and a waste of money. I figured $30 isn't the end of the world and it was fun We got it at Target

Don't ask about it on any of the sites on the bump.  They will eat you alive.  We did not do it.  I would rather save the money and have an elective u/s to see the baby and have a better idea (which is what we did).

People on the bump are idiots.  

I never did it, but I had a friend who did and the test was correct.  It was confirmed two weeks ago that she is having a boy like the test indicated.

I read a bit about it when I was earlier in my pg. most people said it is more often correct with boys because it's easier to distinguish the differences from the mother. That being said I have no idea if it's accurate, and I didn't do it since we got a guess at our 12weeks appt. I wouldn't accept it as truth but I think it would be fun!

I wouldn't start shopping for clothes or anything, but it could be fun!! I would definitely do it. But I waste money on stuff like that all the time. (And I do sorta think it is a waste of money.) But oh well! Have fun!!

We did it and it was purple, sooo it didn't help much.  We laughed about it and waited until the u/s.

Thanks for the feedback!  I would rather wait until the u/s, but H is super anxious.  We shall see.
