OK so when A first went on Formula at 3.5 months she threw up an entire bottle and it totally freaked me out but we thought it was just a fluke because she was fine after that and I think she was just overfed that one time. Then a week after that she threw up again but wound up getting sick with a bad cold and ear infection so we figured it was from that.
This Monday she threw up at daycare her whole bottle- no fever, totally happy but they said it was a lot. She was fine since then so I thought maybe they fed her too fast or didn't burp her. They told me they couldn't get her to burp and she threw up an hour later after eating. Today I picked her up they told me she was good today etc. She had eaten at 3 and I was outside talking to a neighbor and L was playing with their son and A was in the infant car seat and all of a sudden she coughed like she was chocking, spit up a little bit and then puked again all over herself and the car seat. She smiled like it didn't bother her in the least. She is sleeping now.
Could she have developed reflux or an allergy or intolerance after being fine most days and being on formula since early January? Or is this just indigestion, from not burping maybe she is a puker? I noticed they feed the babies in the bouncy seat sometimes and I wonder if that is why. I may have to say something about not doing that with her but I'm unsure if they even did.
I'm at a loss and I might call the Dr. I could count on my hands the amount of times L spit up when she was a baby so this is all new to me.
