I realize I'm posting this a little late, but:
With the strong winds from yesterday, a ton of fences have blown down in my part of town, and we've found FOUR loose dogs today! We managed to capture 2 of the 4 and reunite them...but sadly the other 2 were super scared and would not let us get close to them.
Anyway, keep your eyes peeled for loose doggies!!!
Re: Wind....
Katie Talks About...
I think alot of people may not have realized their fence blew down and just let their dogs outside....eeek. Well, being new to CO and so not used to these winds or the crappy wood-stick fences, I now know to check my fence BEFORE the pups go outside, especially after 90mph winds!!!
I wish our HOA would let us put up real fences. In AZ, the solid 6 foot cement fence goes in BEFORE they even start building the house!!!! It was awesome....lol. Nothing could blow those down.
I wish my dogs would do that!! But they would see it as an opportunity to explore, and the fact that there are 2 of them gives them that "No fear" attitude.
Wow, it sounds like alot of Nestie's fences blew down in that crazy wind!!! While I was out chasing all those loose dogs today, I saw a more than I could count number of downed fences. Crazy.
