Proud to be a Marylander!
When people ask why I chose md over va, I have a new answer. I prefer marriage equality to mandatory invasive medical procedures.
Gov. O'Malley will sign it into law tomorrow, I hear. Hooray!!!

yay!
i also prefer marriage equality to these laws
I've lived in DC, Massachusetts, and Maryland and all have subsequently passed gay marriage. Clearly, I should make plans to move to every state in the country, one by one.
I will happily pay higher taxes to live in a more progressive state.
I'm the least political person that I know, but had to jump in and say, yay! and seriously - I'm pretty sure we have the cutest governor in the entire United States.
Perhaps all of the world.

meanwhile, Virginia is doing it's best to send women's rights back to the stone age.... :-(
Can you please move to Virginia next so I'm not quite as embarrassed to be from there any more?
I freakin LOVE Maryland rght now, and O'Malley is the bomb. (DH knows his mom from his job and I told him he needs to give her a kiss on Monday for raising such a good guy)
