Possible perforated uterus
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm in such pain from the insertion of the IUD still and my OB thinks that his partner may have perforated my uterus when she dilated me. I have to go in tomorrow to see what's going on.

It was listed to me as a very rare side effect and I was told it would have massive bleeding.

I have a high threshold for pain too and this is worse than contractions! Not constantly, but it sucks when it strikes. You give me hope though. Maybe it just sucks for awhile.
I was really shocked at how much pain I was in. I didn't take anything after my c-section and couldn't believe I was in agony for a few days after the insertion. There were times it stopped me in my tracks. I'm hoping it's just the same thing for you.

I did skip spin, there was no way!
I guess I'll have an u/s tomorrow if I'm still in pain. Ugh!

Getting mine was definitely worse than labor but after 1 day I felt fine... hope you feel better SOON!!!

It's a long story, but my OB had no appts until next month, so I made the appt with his partner. She went to dilate me and said that my cervix was small and my uterus was very big.... Which later translated to maybe she perforated my uterus???... Hoping if this is the case it heals on its own. It sucks being a woman!! And I'm wishing I had waited for my OB for the appt!!!
This is why i vote for snip snip for the man!! Its enough we have to deal with periods each month, then possibly labor and birth....that's the least they can do!!
