Chiuaua will not go potty in the snow! Help!!
We just adopted a new puppy. She is ten months, very small about seven pounds. We have had snow on the ground but it hasn't been nearly as cold as it was today. She has had no problems going outside to go to the bathroom in the past but for some reason tonight she just refuses to go. We have sat outside for thirty minutes and she refuses to do her business.
Has anyone had similar problems with small dogs? Any advice would be appreciated.

Most important for my dog is that we clear a patch of grass so she can have her princess potty spot. Worth shoveling the grass a bit for her to go right away though.
Walk her.
Movement stimulates movement. If you don't have her out on a leash, start taking her out there on one.
One of the best things we did was train our dogs to potty on command. Taking them out on a leash was the first step.
