ISO: Brownie or bar cookie with chocolate and caramel
Seriously, the richer, the better. If it has other stuff like peanuts or salt or marshmallow, I'm down with that too. I've decided to indulge my craving for the richest, gooey-esy cookie type thing I can make and I want to do it right.
Show me what you got.
Re: ISO: Brownie or bar cookie with chocolate and caramel
My mom calls these PMS brownies - use your favorite brownie mix or recipe. Spread half the batter in the bottom of the pan. Break up the big Cadbury caramel bars and scatter over the batter (could sub pretty much any candy bar or random other add-in also). Top with the rest of the batter and bake like 3-5 minutes longer than the recipe indicates.
