It is "quite the ulcer" according to the doctor. They didn't check my gall bladder evidently. So no alcohol for 8 weeks
and meds. Then I'll have a repeat endoscopy to see if it has healed.
The team at the facility today was great. However, I normally have a very hard time getting an IV and with the prep (ie. dehydration) it was next to impossible. It took 4 people and 10 sticks to get one in -- including two tries on my foot. I ended up with it in my upper arm which is now bruised and swollen -- but, I'm so thankful to know what is wrong. So, even though that part sucked it was worth it. They all told me they'd take personal days if I ever needed to come back -- I hope they are all there for my follow up! (I know for a fact that my dr. always has the same nurse for the procedure..haha..poor Bill!)
I'm feeling okay. Just crampy and tired. Bedtime soon.
