How much can I fit in my carry on?
I just took a market tour in Ubud and the vanilla beans were gorgeous and priced so cheap. It was around $4 for 50 beans or so. Insanity! I can only imagine what the local price is.
We are on break right now and I head back in an hour or so for my cooking class. I am going to officially learn how to make Mee Goreng. I am the only one in the class and it is amazing. Walking around the market with the chef this morning was incredible, I learned so much. I am thinking my blog will be southeast Asian food for awhile, as long as my DH can stand it.

I say you should definitely try to fit the chef in your carry on. I?m sure you could squeeze those vanilla beans around him somehow
In all seriousness, I?m not sure what the custom limits are, but I would definitely try to bring back as much as you can! I?m glad you are having a wonderful time and I can?t wait to see more on your blog!
