matthew: a good scotch (i think he could also be a classic g&t)
lord grantham: an old fashioned
cora: a manhattan
carson: a good, very aged port
mrs. hughes: black velvet
bates: whiskey
anna: a gimlet
branson: irish car bomb
daisy: amaretto sour
we're still trying to think of the dowager countess - something with bitters but i'm not sure what yet. and someone must be a pimm's cup but i'm not sure who just yet . . .
as you can tell, my friend and i may be a wee bit obsessed

Love these! O'Brien and Thomas should also be sours or bitters or something dark and evil (esp. Thomas). I'll brainstorm.

we threw out the idea of a dirty martini for thomas, given his black market dealings
perhaps a dark & stormy or whiskey sour for o'brien? i chose amaretto sour for daisy because she makes me cringe (and amaretto sours make me cringe).
oh, i love the downton paper dolls!
p.s. i still need to watch the finale. i am trying to stretch it out because i know we'll have to wait until early next year for season three *sob*
