Update to crossing the Mexican border.
I want to thank everyone for your advice. We made the trip to Algodones Mexico on Wednesday. The town seemed untouched by the current unrest in Mexico. If anything it was busier then when I had visited in the past. There were bus loads full of retirees packed into the pharmacies. So DH and I were in good company. Thank you everyone again for your advice.
