Hi, thought I would check here before I made a trip the the vet's office. A day or two ago I notice a small patch of what looked like dry skin on my dogs belly. It was red and irriated so I put a small amount of neosporin on it. Now it's not as red as it was, but she has a large bald spot there? We live in Michigan, so right now we have that odd dry winter air. We keep a humidifier in our room where our dog sleeps.
Ideas? It's just this one small spot on her belly.

Hmm.. I don't think its ring worm or demodex as it doesn't appear to look like any sort of a sore. She also doesn't seem to be itching at it either. I will take her to the vet though and get it checked out though.
