anyone have luck selling furniture on Craigslist?
MH and I want to sell a sofa and loveseat. I prefer to only allow people to see it when MH is home but still am reluctant to have strangers come to my house (i watch too much law and order i guess).
Any feedback or suggestions?
Re: anyone have luck selling furniture on Craigslist?
LOL, true, very true!
I've sold a ton of stuff on Craigslist - including all the furniture from my home staging company when we moved down from north Jersey.
Great, well lit pics are key along with an accurate description (describe any flaws), that way you won't have loads of people coming to view that then won't buy due to said flaw.
Also always give and get a phone number for scheduled appointments and ask them to call you if something comes up - cuts way down on no shows.... and the people coming know you have their contact info.
Try and make appointments for when your DH is there. You'll be fine and it's a great way of selling stuff for free!
Good luck!
