Dog's Nail falling off - help!
We just noticed our foster's thumb nail is half hanging on from the base (where it connects to his paw). It's barely there and is close to being ripped all the way out. I have a call in to our medical coordinator to see what she says. Should I wrap his paw? It's not like the nail is going to just grow back onto the paw so I don't know. Do we just let it be and let it rip out on it's own. It doesn't seem to be bothering him.
I can handle throw-up, poop, pee and any other bodily function but things that are loose and hanging off (like a kid have a loose tooth) are too much for me!!

""No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you're the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside."
"On the night you were born, the moon smiled with such wonder that the stars peeked in to see you and the night wind whispered "Life will never be the same." Because there had never been anyone like you... ever in the world." ~ Nancy Tillman
