Would you bake with/use...

eggs that are past their expiration date? My eggs expired on February 24, so, yesterday. I wanted to make blueberry muffins and I am too lazy to go to the store.... Can I use these eggs?  And is it okay to eat the muffins for a few days after (with eggs that expired on the 24th?)

Ehhh... just one day... I can say I probably would, but crack them into a separate bowl and make sure nothing looks funky or stinks before dumping them into my batter.

I use eggs up to 3 days after the date on the box.  I've read that you can use them up to one week after the date on the package.  As I said, I go with 3 days after and I've never had a problem.

I'd use them. I've accidentally used eggs that had been expired for a week without any issues.

I always go by the float test. Fill a glass full of water. Put the egg in. If it floats it's bad. if it sinks it is good.

Yeah - I'm sure they're still fine.  I've used eggs even up to a week passed their expiration date and they've been fine.
