What wet cat food do you use?
We tried Wellness and my husband asked me to find one that was good but a bit cheaper. They are $1.19 for a small can at one pet store around me and $1.29 at another. I tried Chicken Soup for the Cat's soul for this week. It is 99 cents for a large can. The kittens hate it. They didn't eat well. IMO, it had a funky smell and texture to it. DH even agreed. Would it be prudent to just switch back to Wellness or try something else that is affordable but healthy?
Re: What wet cat food do you use?
We've been feeding BFF (best friend feline) wet food to my girls. It's made by the same company that make Weruva. My cats love it. It's a chunky style that looks like real food, rather than pate. It's also grain free.
It's also at a pretty good price point. Much less than some of the others. Hope that helps.

ETA: We feed a raw diet now, but if we were to switch back, I would feed Weruva again.
5 cats. 1 baby.
We feed Wellness. It's pricey but the cats like it, are in good health, and are super soft lol. There coats are just much healthier feeling than other brands left them. We have been feeding Wellness for about 5+ years now. Yeah it's pricey for 3 cats but we feel it is going to pay off in the long run health wise. We haven't found anything cheaper that compared. Grain-free is important to us.
At first my husband was against Wellness and complained every month when he would buy the food about how expensive it is, but earlier this week he mentioned how he thought the food was good, especially since the cats don't get sick other than the one cats seasonal allergies to grass or pollen (he gets snotty in spring
).
