Do you use an app to track the number of miles you run daily/weekly/monthly? I really want to track that way to keep me motivated. I am just at the beginning and dont want to give up I need to see numbers! Telling me I have run X miles in X time frame will help.
Good apps?
Bad apps?
Free apps?
TIA!
ETA: I have an iPhone

I use Garmin watch, but once I forgot it while traveling a downloaded Track My Run app. I actually used it today since I forgot to charge my watch. Phone apps work okay, nothing like the Garmin, but they get the job done.
If you are new to running I also suggest the Couch to 5k app.

I also have a garmin - I've used runkeeper when I've forgotten my garmin. I HATE it. it's wildly inaccurate for me, and drove me insane. ..
I *think* mapmyrun has an app..
I also recommend C25K for a good starting program - I didn't use it, but I've heard a lot of success stories.
Good Luck!
That is exactly what I am using. I did it about a month ago and got half way through and...well life happened. Been biking more the last few weeks. I just started again.
I am determined to run a 10k or half in 2012!!
