Online Dating
Go ahead and laugh at me, but I created myself a profile on an online dating site lol. I didn't pay for it so I don't think I can contact anyone and they can't really contact me in any meaningful way. I feel lame but I really have no idea how to meet people. Has anyone ever used a dating site before?

My cousin was trying to talk me into going and doing speed dating for fun one night, I turned her down cause (1) I dont really like her and (2) I am too shy

One of my closest friends met her H on Match.com, they've been happily married for 4 years. They are both wonderful people but she is a teacher and obviously there is a lack of male interaction in our field, and he worked from home so it was hard for either of them to meet anyone.
I've been trying to get my brother on board with it for over a year, he met one girl on Jdate and it didn't work out but I'm hoping he will get back on board. He works for a computer/video game company and it is literally all guys that work with him, and he's not the type to go hit on a girl at a bar so I think online it perfect for him.
